Neelain University
Neelain University, founded in 1993, is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of Khartoum's large metropolis (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). This university also has a campus in Jabal Awlia. Neelain University, officially recognized by Sudan's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is a large (over-45,000 students) coeducational Sudanese higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
Neelain University provides courses and programs that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorate degrees in a variety of fields of study. This Sudanese higher-education institution, which is 27 years old, has a selective admission policy based on students' previous academic records and grades. This Sudanese higher education organization is somewhat selective, with an admission rate of 70-80 percent. International applicants are welcome to apply. Students can also take advantage of a library, housing, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, and administrative services at Neelain University.
