National Ribat University
National Ribat University, founded in 2000, is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of Khartoum's large metropolis (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). National Ribat University (NRU), officially recognized by Sudan's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is a coeducational Sudanese higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion.
National Ribat University (NRU) provides courses and programs that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorate degrees in a variety of fields of study. This Sudanese higher-education institution, which has been in operation for 20 years, has a selective admission policy based on students' previous academic records and grades. This Sudanese higher education organization is somewhat selective, with an admission rate of 70-80 percent. International applicants are welcome to apply. NRU also provides students with academic and non-academic facilities and services, such as a library and administrative services.
