Moodnotes
Moodnotes is a mood tracker and thinking notebook. Techniques like CBT and positive psychology can help people track their emotions and modify their thinking habits.
Moodnotes allows you to keep track of your present mood, similar to apps that track your daily activity, which activities you've done and for how long. When you first open the app, you'll see a face with a slider that you can use to make it look happier or sadder, representing your current mood. After you've chosen this, you can fill in more details about your feelings, and Moodnotes will display a list of "thinking traps," or thought patterns that can cause negative feelings, such as "blaming," "downplaying the positives," and "fortune-telling," to help the user understand how and why they're feeling this way. By being exposed and eliminating bad thought behaviors, you may quickly create healthier thinking habits. You may also compare and contrast your progress by looking at entries from prior days. Moodnotes assists you in applying fresh perspectives to circumstances when old ones are no longer effective. This keeps you out of a frustrating loop of activities that are influenced by depression.
