Pacifica

Pacifica is a free smartphone app that uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness concepts to alleviate daily stress, anxiety, and depression.


The program's tools incorporate tactics from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness meditation, relaxation, and mood/health tracking. Users are asked to update their current condition (mood, health, objectives, etc.) when accessing the program, after which they are given specific recommendations for their situation such as guided self-help pathways (each spanning several days), relaxation methods, and group discussions. Pacifica has mood and health (sleep and exercise) trackers based on each individual, daily CBT-based audio lectures and active discussion groups focusing on various topics are among the main features (e.g., PTSD, anxiety and depression, relationship).
