What's Up?
What's Up? is an app that provides techniques for coping with a variety of mental health issues, including depression, negative thinking, and more.
The app is based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) principles. It includes a variety of features, including education about common thinking errors and healthier alternatives, breathing techniques for relaxation, a guided grounding exercise, a log for tracking "good" and "bad" habits,... You can use a personal diary for recording thoughts and rating feelings. This app also provides a forum for everyone to discuss with other users about their problems. Although What's Up does not allow users to share data or include mental health practitioners in the app, it might be a beneficial tool for people suffering from mild to severe depression who do not have access to standard therapies.
