Patagonia Desert
Patagonia desert is a representative from Argentina, it extends from the rain-less western flank of the Andes mountains to the eastern Atlantic Ocean, which has a tremendous likeness, amounting to more than 670,000 square km.
In terms of terrain, the desert consists of lands interspersed with mass blocks. They are separated by river valleys and canyons. The western part of the Patagonia steppe is a lake of icy origin. Besides, there are arid mountain ranges or cold temperate forests along the valleys.
This harshness is believed to be due to the main influence of the terrain. Since Patagonia is located on the rain-less side of the mountain range, the steam evaporates very quickly. Rainfall is small, but the rainwater evaporates rapidly, making it a barren area.
