Taoist Temple

Located in Cebu's exclusive Beverly Hills area, Cebu's Taoist Temples and Pagodas were built in 1972 by the city's large Chinese population. As a recent build, it has some interesting "features", including a concrete dragon with a colorful paint job on the front.

The Temple is open to believers and unbelievers alike. But to ask the priest to pray, you have to throw two pieces of wood into the air. You can contact the priest when both fall to the ground with the printed design facing up.

Note that the temple has a strict dress code and there are parts of the complex where you are not allowed to take photos.
