  1. Built in 652 to house the sutras and Buddha images brought to China by Buddhist traveler Xuanzang, the Great Wild Goose Pagoda overlooks the city of Xian in the northwestern province of Shaanxi, China.


    The tower was built with bricks without the use of cement. Its characteristic façade was renovated during the Ming Dynasty and after the 1556 earthquake the building began to lean noticeably to the left. A musical fountain is erected in the North Square, where spectacular light and water shows are held regularly.


    The Goose Pagoda (also known as the Great Goose Pagoda), a symbol of Xi'an's ancient Zen, has well-preserved ancient buildings and is a sacred place for Buddhists. It is located in the southern suburbs of Xi'an, about 4 km (2.5 miles) from the city center. Located in the Da Sien temple complex, the temple attracts many visitors with its Buddhist significance and simple yet attractive architecture. Giant Goose Pagoda is a major cultural heirloom national sanctuary and an AAAA tourist attraction. Built on the top of Snake Hill in Wuchang near Wuhan, the Yellow Crane Pagoda was a popular tourist attraction, especially among literati, during the Tang Dynasty, and many people wrote poems about it, and it became famous throughout China. It was believed that climbing the tower brings visitors closer to nature.


    In 1985, it was demolished and relocated to create a bridge across the Changjiang River, the 12th in the building's 900-year history. Visitors can still climb to the summit today and enjoy beautiful views of Wuhan and the Yangtze River, even if they don't feel close to nature.

  3. Situated on a small peninsula east of West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi. The 1500-year-old pagoda was recently voted the most beautiful pagoda in the world. The perimeter of Lakeside Pagoda is particularly attractive, and visitors light incense to burn several shrines within the complex. Watch out for the barley.   5. Located in Cebu's exclusive Beverly Hills area, Cebu's Taoist Temples and Pagodas were built in 1972 by the city's large Chinese population. As a recent build, it has some interesting "features", including a concrete dragon with a colorful paint job on the front.

  7. The Three Pagodas in the ancient city of Dali are one of the best-preserved Buddhist structures in China and have survived several man-made and natural disasters since Emperor Quan Fenyu built the middle pagoda in 840 AD.
