Dunya University of Afghanistan
Dunya University of Afghanistan, founded in 2009, is a for-profit private higher-education institution located in Kabul (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Dunya University of Afghanistan (DUA), which is officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan, is a small (enrollment range: 250-499 students) coeducational Afghan higher education institution.
Dunya University of Afghanistan (DUA) provides programs and courses that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in a variety of fields of study. This 11-year-old Afghan university has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. This Afghan higher education organization is the least selective, with an admission rate of 80-90 percent. International applicants are welcome to apply. DUA also provides students with a variety of academic and non-academic facilities and services, like financial aid and/or scholarships, housing, sports facilities, and administrative services.
Dunya University of Afghanistan is an international university in Afghanistan with a diverse faculty, the majority of whom are European or North American. Dunya University is well-known in Afghanistan for its contributions to the private and public sectors.
DUA is a member of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) as well as the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Membership in these organizations does not imply accreditation, though the Council for Higher Education Accreditation recognizes ACBSP as an accrediting body. DUA is not accredited, according to the AACSB report.
