Kabul University of Medical Sciences
Kabul University of Medical Sciences, founded in 1932, is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in Kabul's urban setting (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Kabul University of Medical Sciences (KUMS), which is officially recognized by Afghanistan's Ministry of Higher Education, is a small (enrollment range: 500-999 students) coeducational Afghan higher education institution.
Kabul University of Medical Sciences (KUMS) provides programs and courses that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, and master degrees in a variety of fields of study. This 88-year-old Afghan university has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. KUMS also offers a library, sports facilities, housing, financial aid and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, distance learning opportunities and online courses, and administrative services to students.
