Sonic Adventure 2

Sonic Adventure 2 is a platform game released in 2001 by Sega and developed by Sonic Team USA. It was the Dreamcast's final Sonic the Hedgehog game before Sega exited the home console market. It has two good versus. evil stories: Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles the Echidna try to preserve the world, while Shadow, Doctor Eggman, and Rouge the Bat want to conquer it. Sonic and Shadow's tales are separated into three gameplay styles: fast-paced platforming, multi-directional shooting, and active exploration for Knuckles and Rouge.

Sonic Adventure 2 garnered mostly excellent feedback for its gameplay diversity, aesthetics, and music, however, some questioned the camera, voice acting, and narrative. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, an updated port for the GameCube, was released in late 2001 in Japan and early 2002 in North America and Europe, with better graphics and multiplayer possibilities. The Dreamcast and GameCube versions sold over 2 million units worldwide.
