You're in luck if you happen to be in Kuala Belait right now! Why? That's because you'll be getting a closer look at some Nepalese cuisine at Just Momos in Kuala Belait, which is around 140 kilometers from Brunei's capital, Bandar Seri Begawan.
Mr Rajesh Thapa and his wife, Mrs Sarita Thapa, own and operate Just Momos, which originally opened for business in January 2018. It is one of the two Nepalese restaurants in the Belait District. The Gurkha Palace, in Seria town, is the other.
Nepalese food, contrary to popular misconception, is not the same as Indian food and has its own distinct flavor. It's a "healthier" version of South Asian cuisine that doesn't sacrifice taste or quality. Spices were used by the eatery to bring the food to life! Mr Rajesh, the restaurant's proprietor, said it best when he said, "Cook with love, serve with love, and the cuisine will be delicious!"

The address for Kaizen Sushi is Kompleks Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Jalan McArthur, Bandar Seri Begawan BS8711, Brunei. This is one of the greatest Japanese restaurants in town, with excellent and prompt service.
Great riverfront restaurant with a view of Brunei's famous water village. Recommend making a reservation ahead of time because it is always quite busy. This is a good sign that they provide wonderful Japanese food because they have a lot of repeat customers despite not offering a privilege card to regular customers like their large competition. They'd probably have a lot more business and branches if they offered the same privilege card. It's definitely worth a try.

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei is home to Thien Thien Restaurant Kiulap. This eatery is known for its delectable chicken rice. Although the true flavor of chicken rice has deteriorated with time, the feelings it evokes are enough to transport me back to my early days, when my father would bring me here after a long day at primary school to sample the chicken rice.
The items on the menu are still excellent - but not the healthiest - but if you're going on eating here, chicken rice is the dish to order.
The furnishings in the restaurant adds to the local Bruneian atmosphere, and it appears to be tidy and clean.

When you have a strong desire for Japanese cuisine in Brunei, many locals will strongly suggest Excapade Japanese cuisine. Not just because it is a Halal-certified restaurant, but also because it is a well-known brand (excellent taste) among Brunei's Japanese eateries. Sushi, tempura, gyoza, teppanyaki, and rice and noodle dishes are all available on this budget-friendly Japanese restaurant's large menu, which is served in a dining area decorated with posters and lanterns. You could nearly be in Japan if it weren't for the lack of Asahi or sake. Kiulap and Gadong both have branches.
The restaurant has eight locations throughout Brunei, so it's hardly surprising that you'll have to wait a long time to eat there. Escapade has a romantic, inviting atmosphere, superb food, and gorgeous décor. People here appreciate the restaurant even more than many other domestic sushi eateries.
Customers can also earn a VIP card with a 10% discount if their total bill is over 200 yuan (customers can still request to purchase a separate card for a 20 yuan fee). Customers who have a VIP card will receive a discount of up to 30% on some special events.
