  1. Womé waterfall located in the Womé village about 15 kilometers from the city center of Kpalimé, is a real treasure of natural, refreshing, and diverse landscape.   3. On the famous plateaus of Danyi, there is the Yikpa waterfall, the most beautiful tourist site in Togo. The Yikpa waterfall (also called Agumatsa waterfall) is within the Agmatsa Wildlife Sanctuary, about 30 km north of Kpalimé, and is the largest waterfall in West Africa. It is divided into two vertiginous falls, one of which is in Togo (110m high) and the other in Ghana. The landscapes to reach the falls are magnificent with a sometimes difficult climb.   4. If visitors visit Badou, don't miss seeing one of Togo's wonders, Aklowa waterfall - a 100m waterfall that rushes from a granite cliff into a pool deep in the forest. Aklowa waterfall has located 11 km from the city of Badou. The waterfall finds its source in an underground river and access is not easy and somewhat sporty on the way. It takes about 45 minutes to walk to the site. Bring water, fruit, a cap, sunscreen, and a bathing suit are the most essential items for a visit. This waterfall always attracts tourists and locals to relax and explore, bringing abundant economic benefits to Togo.


    To get to Aklowa waterfall, visitors will need to take a 45-minute walk on narrow paths that wind over hills through cocoa plantations before entering the forest. The trip is a bit tiring but well worth it. In addition, visitors will find themselves deep in the forest and they will have the impression of discovering the world when they arrive in the ravine withdrawn at the base of the fall.
