As fries

These crunchy fried avocado wedges are a great substitute if you love avocado but are getting sick of guacamole and avocado toast. Serve some fried as a side dish with breakfast, lunch, or dinner, as an appetizer for a special event, or as a weekend game-day snack. They can either be fried in deep oil or, for a healthy alternative, baked. You may eat your avocado fries with a variety of dipping sauces, consider using your preferred homemade dip instead of the spicy cilantro-lime mayo. Use a pre-made condiment or dip if you're short on time; excellent choices include ranch dressing, ketchup, and a cream cheese dip.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs

  • Cook 3 to 4 minutes, until the avocado slices turn golden brown.
  • Remove to a paper towel-lined plate and repeat until all the avocado slices are cooked.
