In sushi rolls

The staple of Japanese cuisine is sushi. Typically, rice, seaweed, and fish or shellfish are used in the preparation. However, avocados are frequently included in sushi rolls. They may be used to fill or top sushi rolls, and they have a creamy texture. You will need one large, thickly sliced avocado for this dish. Pick an avocado that is ripe and has dark green and black speckles. The avocado should still feel somewhat firm but not hard when you press on it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup of uncooked sushi rice + 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of white wine vinegar
  • 1 large avocado, thickly sliced
  • 5–6 Nori sheets

Instruction:

  • Cook your rice. Once done, place in a large bowl in the fridge to cool down. Once rice is mostly cool, mix in the rice vinegar and white wine vinegar and set aside.
  • Spread 2/3 cup of the cooked rice over the nori sheet. Top with some avocado.
  • Roll the nori sheet over the top of the fillings and continue to gently and tightly roll the sheet until it’s all the way rolled up.
  • Slice into pieces and enjoy.
