Soran University
Soran University, founded in 2009, is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of Soran (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Kurdistan. Soran University (SU), officially recognized by the Kurdistan Regional Government's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is a small (enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational Iraqi higher education institution.
Soran University (SU) provides courses and programs that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in a variety of fields of study. This 11-year-old Iraqi higher-education institution has a selective admission policy that is based on entrance examinations as well as students' previous academic records and grades. International applicants are welcome to apply. SU also provides students with academic and non-academic facilities and services such as a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aid and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, and administrative services.
