University of Technology
University of Technology, founded in 1960, is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of Baghdad's large metropolis (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). University of Technology is a large (enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational Iraqi higher education institution that is officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research of Iraq.
The University of Technology provides courses and programs that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in a variety of fields of study. This Iraqi higher-education institution, which has been in operation for 60 years, has a selective admission policy based on students' previous academic records and grades. International applicants are welcome to apply. University of Technology also offers a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aid and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, and administrative services to students.
