The American University of Central Asia ranks first among the best universities in Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) is a medical school in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. It is formally known as the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy dedicated after I.K. Akhunbaev. It was founded on September 1, 1939, in the Kyrgyz SSR's capital of Frunze (now Bishkek), with the recruitment of 200 students. The First Moscow Medical Institute, high medical schools in Saint-Petersburg, Almaty, Tashkent, and other medical institutes all contributed to the institute's foundation.
The Military Faculty of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy was established at the start of World War II, notably in October 1941, when the medical service was short on people. The Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University is a university in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan's capital, that is jointly operated by the Kyrgyz government and the Russian government. In 1992, the KRSU was founded. The Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation was signed on June 10, 1992, in Moscow, and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was established in 1993. KSUCTA is the national coordinator of the SCO member states' Institutions' network, through which KSUCTA sends 15-20 master's students to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, and other universities each year.
