The Waterlot Inn
Bring a date—and your wallet—to Bermuda's premier restaurant, Waterlot Inn, for a significant anniversary or a birthday ending in a zero. To dine here, gentlemen are no longer required to wear jackets, but they should: This establishment exudes formality and white-tablecloth grandeur. To begin, order the tableside Caesar salad, as well as the Rockefeller oysters, foie gras terrine, and yellowfin tuna crudo. If beef isn't your thing, there's a parade of usual suspects for your entrée: certified black angus cuts of meat, surf and turf tasting trios, and seafood entrees.
To begin, gourmets can order the tableside Caesar salad, as well as the Rockefeller oysters, foie gras terrine, and yellowfin tuna crudo at Waterlot Inn. If beef isn't your thing, there's a parade of usual suspects for your entrée: certified black angus cuts of meat, surf and turf tasting trios, and seafood entrees. The 52-ounce ribeye tomahawk for two is ideal for a hungry couple, and the eight-ounce Wagyu striploin, priced at $68 per dish, is sumptuous, buttery, and well worth the money.
The side dishes are standard (creamed spinach, pancetta-wrapped brussels sprouts, lobster mac 'n' cheese), so reserve room for dessert, such as the bananas foster for two, flambéed tableside with Gosling's Black Seal rum and topped with caramel and vanilla ice cream.
