Finding Nemo (2003)
Finding Nemo is a 2003 American computer-animated adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Directed and co-written by Andrew Stanton with co-direction by Lee Unkrich, the screenplay was written by Bob Peterson, David Reynolds, and Stanton from a story by Stanton.
Almost 20 years after its first release, Finding Nemo remains a modern animation masterpiece, unrivaled by more recent entrants in the genre. The film transports viewers to a wide ocean where discovering oneself is a difficult undertaking. Where Finding Nemo excels the most is in creating a plethora of distinct personalities, each more engaging than the next and each deserving of enthusiastic support. Viewers of a certain age are familiar with the P. Sherman 42 Wallaby Way address, and there has never been a more critical moment to remember to "just keep swimming." Finding Nemo was the first Pixar picture to win Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards, and its good sequel, Finding Dory, is also accessible on Disney+.
