Frozen (2013)
Frozen is a 2013 American computer-animated musical fantasy film directed by Chris Buck and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the 53rd animated feature film produced by Disney and is based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Snow Queen." The plot revolves around a princess who embarks on a trip with an iceman, his reindeer, and a snowman to locate her estranged sister, whose icy abilities have unwittingly locked their country in endless winter.
Do you want to construct a snowman? Anna, just let it go! Even if you haven't watched Frozen or its sequel, you'll recognize the connections because the Walt Disney Pictures blockbuster swiftly became one of the most popular films of the recent decade. And, to be honest, it lives up to the hype. The characters are nicely developed, the comedy is spot on, and the melodies are outrageously catchy. You will cry and laugh at least once while viewing this film; age, gender, and ethnicity will not prevent this from happening. Kristen Bell, who plays Anna, and Idina Menzel, who plays Elsa, are both excellent choices, as is Josh Gad as the adorable oaf snowman Olaf. Watching this movie on merit alone is worth it, but if for no other reason, watch it so that you have something to talk to about with children at the Thanksgiving table.
