Night at the Museum (2006)

Shawn Levy directed the 2006 live-action/computer-animated fantasy comedy film Night at the Museum, which was written by Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon. It depicts the story of a divorced parent who applies for a position as a night watchman at New York City's American Museum of Natural History and learns that the displays come to life at night, thanks to a mysterious Egyptian artifact. The film was released by 20th Century Fox on December 22, 2006, and it grossed $574.5 million worldwide, making it the fifth highest-grossing picture of 2006. However, reviewers gave it mixed reviews.

Larry meets Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams) and Attila the Hun (Patrick Gallagher), as well as the mummy Ahkmenrah (Rami Malek). Keeping order at this museum is a lifelong job, but Larry is prepared to make the sacrifice in order to impress his son, Nick (Jake Cherry).
