Toy Story (1995)

Toy Story is a 1995 American computer-animated film directed by Pixar and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It was the first episode in the Toy Story franchise, as well as the first Pixar feature picture, and it was the first totally computer-animated feature film. Joss Whedon, Andrew Stanton, Joel Cohen, and Alec Sokolow wrote the screenplay, which was directed by John Lasseter (in his feature directorial debut) and written by Joss Whedon, Andrew Stanton, Joel Cohen, and Alec Sokolow from a plot by Lasseter, Stanton, Pete Docter, and Joe Ranft. Randy Newman composed the soundtrack for the film, which was produced by Bonnie Arnold and Ralph Guggenheim and executive produced by Steve Jobs and Edwin Catmull.

Being a toy is difficult, especially when your delicate sense of self is called into question by the new kid in town. Toy Story, Pixar's 1995 big movie, is based on this basic notion. Woody is the well-known commander of his owner Andy's bedroom toy group. When Andy receives the all-new Buzz Lightyear for his birthday, the rest of the group begins to prefer the space ranger action figure, causing Woody to rage. Buzz is thrown from Andy's bedroom window into the big world beyond after a freak accident, prompting Woody and the other toys to go on a daring search-and-rescue effort. Toy Plot is a terrific family movie that has cutting-edge animation, excellent voice talent, and a great story full of jokes and warm fuzzies.
