  1. You will develop important storytelling techniques in this course by working on a brand-new story in each of the five sections. The stories are included throughout the course, along with advice on where to look for more of your own. They are traditional but not widely known tales that are excellent for use with kids ages 5-8.

Katy explains the fundamental methods for remembering a narrative in the first section, including focusing on the plot framework and picturing the setting. The second segment emphasizes interaction, which is a crucial component of effective storytelling for kids. The third and fourth sections, which are covered at a basic level, concentrate on using voice and gesture to successfully convey the story. These are crucial but not absolutely necessary for a beginning storyteller. Each component builds on the one before it by repeatedly using the fundamental methods until they are automatic. A summary of all the methods used on a new story is presented in the fifth section.

Many of the lectures are set up such that you may pause the video and do the activities that Katy has demonstrated so you are actively participating in the information rather than just listening to it. As a result, even though the video content is little over 3 hours long, completing the course will require much more time (allow 7-10 hours in total). Although the stories were picked with younger children in mind, most of the course can be used to learn how to tell stories to people of any age. It is a great CPD for primary and elementary school teachers.

As you practice delivering the stories to your class, you are urged to keep a Storytelling Diary. The last task is a self-evaluation of your development. You might complete the course in 5 weeks by sharing a different story to your class each week, but you are free to move at your own pace. Throughout the course, you are welcome to reach out to Katy with any questions, and she will try her best to get back to you right away.

    • You are undoubtedly well aware of the fact that every prosperous small business has a compelling narrative. Alternative phrase: "Entrepreneurs must tell stories to live," to quote Richard Branson. However, how do you choose which tale to tell? How can you tell that tale to have the biggest impact? What if you don't even have a story, or at least one that you want to tell?

This is one of the Best Online Storytelling Courses. This course focuses specifically on the strategic use of stories in marketing. You'll come to see that storytelling is a technique for marketing, not for enjoyment. You'll learn why a bedtime story, a fairy tale, or a campfire tale aren't your most successful business narratives.

Forget everything you've been taught about being open and honest and telling your hero's journey story. You'll discover when a personal tale becomes too much information, why being vulnerable can make you look less desirable, and what to do if you haven't gone on a hero's journey.

You'll discover fresh applications for stories to gain an advantage over your rivals (and incidentally make your marketing more productive and a whole lot more fun). You'll learn how to become a storytelling ninja so that you can amaze your audience both in person and virtually over the Internet.

      • Learn why certain tales can help you grow your business (and some actually sabotage your success)
      • Tell a story that is ideal for your audience and the situation (rather than try to fit an all-purpose story to everything you do)
      • Find stories based on your own life experiences and background to support your marketing
      • Avoid the storytelling errors that are most common and give you an amateurish appearance.
      • Clearly define how much of your personal life you can disclose (and when TMI begins)

    • Managers of programs and projects are skilled storytellers. They must be in order to incorporate important facts into a compelling story for their audience. Customers must agree to their objectives and comprehend how the program is helping them to achieve them. Stakeholders must have faith in the direction and continue to support the goals of the program. Teams and leaders working on programs and projects must comprehend what is important and how their efforts fit into the bigger picture.

Why bother learning how to tell good stories if storytelling is not covered on the PMP exam or other project management certification exams? Since the human brain is essentially wired towards storytelling. People's brains are wired to interpret the world in terms of causes and effects.

In that you may test out alternative solutions to a problem before facing the actual problem, good stories are similar to flight simulators. Utilizing engaging narratives improves the effectiveness of risk management for projects and programs. Large volumes of information can also be conveyed to your project teams and stakeholders effectively through stories. More knowledge is retained in memory, and people can use that information to their advantage. Customers convey their requirements to the agile project team through tales in agile project management. • Human decision-making rarely relies just on statistics. Human decision-makers make conceptual leaps beyond what the data may indicate due to cognitive biases, emotional factors, and conceptual leaps. The most effective technique to inform and influence decision-makers is through narratives. Stories created by sound data analysis.

You will learn how to use the ABT ("And, But, Then") Narrative Framework to tell stories based on facts in this course. This course will begin by exploring and improving your data using effective data science methodologies. This course employ storytelling approaches that are brain-friendly to create an engaging narrative from the data findings.

Once you have your stories, you will learn how to develop persuading presentations for business professionals, whether they are in-person or online.

The course's last week is devoted to customer training. Customers desire feature-rich, cutting-edge digital items. Customers, however, don't want to take a lot of effort to discover those characteristics. By encouraging the customer to interact more with the product, customer training enables the digital company to be more strategically focused.

You will use your data storytelling abilities to create tales that demonstrate to clients how the goods and services offered by your business can enhance their quality of life. To ensure that your goods and services gain the traction you need for the success of your digital transformation, you will learn how to use the data analytics and machine learning in your digital organization to produce efficient customer training.
